One of the best things about raising puppies is getting to know the wonderful people who adopt them. Here are photos of some of the puppies in their new homes. Thanks to all who have sent the photos. We love receiving your photos. I'll post as many as I can as soon as I can.

"Gerald has a little helper whenever he goes out to get an armload of wood for the stove. Barney ALWAYS brings in a piece of his own. This one was exceptionally large, so we took a picture. It weighed nearly nine pounds. What a dog!"

When Barney isn't hauling firewood or conversing with the local deer population, he protects his family from back porch bear visitors. His mom says he has a special "bear bark". (Two days after he arrived at his new home, he scared a bear off the back porch!)
